PageFlex multi media authoring application
PageFlex is an authoring application. It can author documents for print, multimedia or the web. The strength of the application comes from the NuDoc format developed by Archetype. Inherent to NuDoc is a total separation between the content and the layout of the document. This allows the user to simultaneously work on several presentations of the document, deriving different designs for each presentation media.
PageFlex has the concept of models these can be text, object or page models. They define the relationship between the content and the form. At any time the user may experiment, trying out new models on his design. A model can contain only the form, only the content or both.
